HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)

Why do HIIT?

HIIT combines short periods of intense exercise with short periods of rest.

  • Effective weight loss (coupled with a healthy diet)

  • Fast, flexible and fun way to work out

  • Improve Aerobic and Anaerobic endurance

  • Lose fat not muscle

  • “After Burn Effect” the body burns fat for longer periods up to 48 hours after the high intensity activity

 

ABDOMINAL ATTACK CLASS

This 35 minute HIIT style class focuses on improving core strength and abdominal endurance. We will aim to tone your abs with a combination of exercises beyond the simple crunch including twists and pelvic curls.

BODY STRENGTH CONDITIONING CLASS

60 minutes.  Strength training is key to flexibility, mobility and improved performance. We work a set group of muscles together in one minute intervals which will improve your cardiovascular fitness, tone and increase muscle mass. We largely use bodyweight training, free weights and kettlebells.
